this immaculately preserved 1910 steam locomotive back into service.

Prepared locomotive for asbestos abatement and supervised removal
of asbestos from the locomotives by licensed abatement contractor.

Short Line Enterprises Refrigerator Car No. 8464.

Refurbished exterior and interior of c.1910-1920 wood bodied
refrigerator car for City of Santa Fe Springs as condition of
sale to the City for use as part of their Heritage Park Railroad
Travel Town Asbestos Abatement Program
For Travel Town, City of Los Angeles, Department
of Parks and Recreation.
Supervised preparation of two locomotives for asbestos abatement
by volunteers and removal of asbestos from the locomotives by
licensed abatement contractor.
AT&SF No. 870 Restoration
Selected vendors and performed/supervised
restoration of locomotive. Engine cosmetically restored to c.1928
in service appearance. Required fabrication of new driving boxes,
crown brasses, cellars, shoes, wedges, pedestal braces, main
rod, side rod, pilot and various pins, bushings and hardware.
Private Car PPCX 800320 Pony Express
Performed complete teardown, rebuild and documentation
of ex-Canadian Pacific Baggage-Express car #4210 in accordance
with Amtrak PC-2 procedures. Interior redone as dance lounge
car with sleeping quarters for crew. Interior paneled in style
of Virginia & Truckee coach #4, Kimball, 1872. Car certified
in august 2001.

Provided project management and documentation
for completion of Amtrak PC-2 rebuild. Car certified in

Sierra Railroad Dinner Train Cars
Perform project engineering and management
for conversion of former LIRR Commute cars into elegant dining
cars for Sierra Railroad dinner train. Interior design features
Black Walnut paneling with Honduras Mahogany inlays and 4 and
2 seating arrangement for customer comfort and privacy.
